About Dr. Jieun Kim, MD - Child Psychiatrist

Dr. Jieun Kim is a psychiatrist with a subspecialty in child psychiatry.

She trained at Temple University Hospital in general psychiatry and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in child and adolescent psychiatry where she also served as chief fellow in child psychiatry during her last year.

She was a faculty at Temple University Hospital, serving as medical director of child and adolescent services before opening her private practice. She also taught medical students at Temple University Medical School and psychiatry residents at Temple University Hospital as an assistant professor, developing medical curriculums, giving lectures and providing supervisions.

Dr. Kim received her medical degree from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea. She was a family practitioner having a successful private practice in Suburban Seoul, after training in Family Practice at Asan Medical Center, one of the most prestigious medical facilities in Korea, before moving to the United States.

Dr. Kim resides in suburban Philadelphia, and is a proud mother of 2 children. Her practice is located in Newtown, PA, and she sees patients from all surrounding areas near Newtown, PA.
